HumanMoscow
Dear Friends, Over the last few months we’ve been working hard to launch HumanWear on the Moscow market and are pleased to announce that our initial efforts have come to fruition! We are now ready to dress the Moscow mods in ‘human’ style! Humans in MoscowHumanWear Moscow is a new unique initiative aiming at cladding our friends, acquaintances and everyone interested in beautiful hand-made clothes produced from natural fabrics only. Our collections are designed by young and aspiring as well as the already established de-signers from Central Asia – and that’s also where the fabrics is produced and hand-painted. At present we work with over 200 Central Asian designers and are hoping to expand in 2011 by establishing collaborations with designers from South-East Asia (Thailand and Hong Kong). We are starting with a project, designed especially for Moscow in collaboration with five most promising Central Asian fashion designers. Men’s Collection A limited edition of menswear in ‘street style’ is designed by Alexey Manshaev (Kanishka) who has already established a reputation for stunning experiments with leather, fur and em-broidery in Central Asia and beyond. Kanishka’s collection designed for Moscow is based on contrasts: the ‘brutal’ chinos go with richly decorated details. The designer also experiments with chain-stitch embroidery on tops and T-shirts themed in skulls, cars, animals and trees. We hope the Moscow mods will love the highlight of the collection – men’s flip-flops decorated with flowers, beads and bows. Ladies’ Collection The ladies’ collection designed by other four designers, who are largely unknown to the Mos-cow audience, follows the latest fashion trends and is hand-made of finest silk, linen and hand-woven cotton. It combines different influences from mixing feminine stylish dresses with sporty casual, resulting in clothing that projects timeless elegance, purity, romance and sen-suality all while keeping an underlying hint of playful flirtiness in billowy silk-linen dresses ur-ban cotton polka dot. Different styles are united by our brand’s principle – all clothes has ‘human’ touch to differ from mass manufactured wear which is why everything is literary handmade. Every item in the collection has been produced in four exemplars only. We hope that the lucky Moscow shoppers will feel human in our clothes and wear them with care! Coming soon…We are working to launch a page on Facebook and a blog, where you can follow our news and developments! Meanwhile you can reach us at human.moscow@gmail.com! |
